NAIROBI INTRODUCTION

3 HOUR NAIROBI CITY TOUR

This tour of the city centre covers the colorful City Market, Parliament Buildings. The Railway Station and the renowned National Museum where you will see displays of the early man, tribal regalia and the Flora and Fauna of Kenya as well as visit to the adjacent snake park.

4 HOURS NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK

The tour will start at 2.00 pm. It is a unique sanctuary located just a few kilometers from Nairobi's bustling City Centre, despite it's proximity there are many species of mammals that can be found there including four of the Big Five. The tour returns to the City Centre by sundown. Private tours of the same can be organized the following morning.

3 HOURS KAREN BLIXEN AND THE GIRAFFE CENTRE

A short tour to the home of the pioneer coffee farmer, Karen Blixen - of "Out of Africa" fame, is now preserved as a museum. A visit to this museum is an opportunity to step back in time and gain an insight into this remarkable woman's life. The view of Ngong Hills can be admired from the beautifully landscaped gardens of the museum. The Karen Blixen museum is one of a number of very interesting regional museums and archeological and prehistoric sites of the National museums of Kenya, and it continues to be an immensely popular tourist attraction with the same words ' I dreamt of Africa'. Later proceed to the Giraffe Centre to see and feed the famous Rothschild Giraffes.

CARVIVORE EXPERIENCE

Nairobi has many restaurants offering varieties of cuisine. We recommend a dinner or lunch at the Carnivore which is famous for the succulent stew and barbecue dishes of Game meat as an excellent compliment to a holiday in Kenya; especially as an excellent welcome or farewell dinner.

3 HOURS BOMAS OF KENYA

A Boma is an African homestead and just a few kilometers from the city is Bomas of Kenya, numerous homesteads reflecting Kenya's cocktail of cultures have been faithfully recreated for visitors to see traditional village life. But the greatest excitement during the afternoon is a visit to the galaxy of traditional dancing music and folklore songs performed in splendid arena.

FULL DAY NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK & BOMAS

The National Park, only 8 kms from the city centre is Nairobi's pride for no other bustling capital of the world can boast a paradise of wildlife almost on it's doorstep. The morning is spent tracking some of the many species found in the Park which include Rhinos, Lions, Buffalos, Leopards and Cheetahs. After lunch at Carnivore Restaurant, continue to Bomas of Kenya for a fiesta of traditional music and dance. The tour ends in Nairobi in the early evening.
